Internet - the first global state (Part two)

(first part of the article available at http://naturaprincipia.blogspot.com/2014/01/internet-first-global-state-part-one.html)

The development of the net is beyond the control of any individual or certain groups of individuals. Every system created to control this electronic society acts harmful on the growth and expanse of the net, it serves as a destructive force in a sense of severing the accomplished synergy of its users. If the tendency for nationalization of the virtual space is brought to reality, in that case: government and corporate surveillance systems, security collectives and organizations for control of virtual space, will accomplish dissecting of the internet as a compact set into smaller units which will be closely connected with national states and societies. These fractions might be easier to control and manage through local centers of political power. This leads toward higher centralization of power of states as well as their high level of control of the e-population in a manner of surveillance and control of: browsing content, exchange of ideas, restriction or denial of access, overall development of the e-society; which might ultimately lead to autocratic means of rule. These totalitarian actions will always meet defiance and resistance among the netizens, since defiance finds roots in human nature.

However, the human factor of the net expressed through its users, is accustomed to globalization in the communication, freedom in the access of information, uninterrupted flow and exchange of data and ideas. Provided that if the global political tendency of multipolarization of the world, is translated onto the net, it is inevitable the appearance of separation of the bigger part of its users and formation of a parallel net, something like today’s darknet. Concepts of: open society, free software, and most recent open science; have shown to all netizens that any affiliation which leads to increase of human values and virtues has only positive features. Users have already learned their lessons, they have already established a global electronic culture which thrives and expands as we speak; it stands separate from any national culture. This global identity can’t be connected to any other identification or classification, since it’s unique by nature.

Information has already become unstoppable, it has ascending line of behavior. Considering the amount and speed of the planetary flow of data, it’s truly remarkable how vast this pool of ideas and information truly is, and it’s even more astonishing how it can easily circumnavigate the globe. The times we live in are fast, we process information even while in REM state. This traffic, this information overload affects every single one of us, all people everywhere. Interests and aspirations are no longer national, they’ve become global and this doesn’t apply only to countries or corporations, it is firmly attached in the contemporary living of every citizen on the planet; a thought which destroys nationality in its roots. The libertarian nature of the globalization which is accomplished in front of our eyes is a concept that we live in for two decades by now. Restoration to the old ways is unacceptable for us, because those of us who remember, know very well what that means. And the new generations don’t perceive anything different than this ongoing process of digitalization which we all enjoy very much.

Human thought is meant to be free… and the ideas, they are bulletproof:)
