WE
It’s written in our genetic code, it’s
inevitable that we strive for better: growth of human virtues, adaptation to
changes in the environment, positive impact in our surrounding; thus improving
oneself and society in general. We balance all virtues and faults in our psyche
by achieving equilibrium and accepting peaceful outcome in every situation,
proving that kindness, tolerance and understanding lie as fundaments in our
niche. So we can stand tall and proud, gazing toward our future and saying out
loud: We are Humans!
There are many challenges which lie
before us. Our egos have to be removed from the equation. We need to start
thinking in plural, since we’re so many. Our growth in numbers is a marvelous
blessing, not a curse or reason to drive ourselves into extinction. Einstein
said that ego is lack of knowledge. I would add that it’s also lack of
understanding. Our differences make this world a finer place. All voices are
present, we need to learn to listen, not just speak. Each and everyone of us is
connected with all others. We are never alone, so why ego?
Our nature of consumption is the
building block of capitalism and this influences every aspect of our life (even
the need for writing… sorry I was away for so long, but the odor of the
capitalism can be overwhelming sometimes and so seductive:(; but it brings with
it foul stench of: greed, envy, intolerance and so forth. It utilizes the use
of economic goods thus creating false pretenses of happiness and satisfaction. It’s
a mechanism based on the need for more. Greed as an input, and more greed as an
output – an abuse of the “positive” cybernetic feedback. This is offensive to
our senses, and opposite to our nature. It’s destructive to the ecologic
systems and also apocalyptic towards all life on our Home World. We need to
accept what we have. This can be done by achieving inner tranquility and
understanding of our soul thus creating a path which don’t lie solely on
ambition, but also on improvement, evolution and growth. Our society is
democracy, not capitalism.
We deem to say that life is a deep
sleep, of which love is the dream. So, love more?
